January 5, 2011 - Finally got around to adding semester summaries for 6th and 7th PhD semesters.
January 3, 2011 - Gave up on trying to find a new "cheap" VPS provider. Switched to Linode, the best VPS provider in existence.
December 14, 2011 - I was just notified that my excellent VPS provider of almost 3 years is closing up shop. So, I'm giving YDGH another shot. Fingers crossed!
November 15, 2011 - Four new albums.
November 11, 2011 - Updated counts on picture index to include turkstra.net and adventure pictures (since they're linked to).
November 8, 2011 - Rearranged FAQ page, added a question out of aggravation. Added links to 6 new turkstra.net albums. Also changed color of turkstra.net albums to make it easier to find the turkeyland-only albums.
October 16, 2011 - Added one new album.
October 8, 2011 - Added four new albums.
October 2, 2011 - Remembered to add photos of the Purdue AAMB. Also added an "Aquahawk" album and more turkstra.net links.
September 20, 2011 - Moved back to the old VPS provider, fsckvps.com. The last 2.5 years with them went great, here's hoping the next ones do too.

August 21, 2011 - Updated main page in celebration of my brand new son! Jefferson Edward Turkstra born August 17, 2011 11:53 PM at 7lbs. 14oz., 21", with Dr. Catherine Sam attending.
August 12, 2011 - Switched VPS providers to YDGH. They're slightly cheaper and offer more resources. We'll see how it works out.
July 17, 2011 - Remembered to add link to new album on turkstra.net.
July 1, 2011 - Updated front page in memory of Oscar "Buddies" Turkstra, my ferret. He brought me love, happiness, excitement, and lots of poop. 2/4/2006 - 6/30/2011. I'll miss you Buddies.
June 2, 2011 - Added four new photo albums.
March 22, 2011 - Added seven new photo albums.
March 5, 2011 - Updated front page in memory of Joseph "Wally" McGillicutty Turkstra, my best friend and dog. 2/23/1996 - 3/4/2011. I'll never forget him.
February 4, 2011 - More rearranging. Also added some content to Work / Research going back further and the new "endeavors" section.
December 17, 2010 - Did some rearranging. We'll see how long it lasts.
November 9, 2010 - Refreshed the links page.
November 8, 2010 - Although I concluded that my endeavor with google ads was a failure long ago, I at least felt like I should wait until I accumulated enough for at least one check. So, after ~ 4 years I have finally hit $100. Now that the experiment is over, the ads are removed - for good.
October 31, 2010 - Forgot I duplicate pictures of the band on here in addition to purdueband.com. Added them all (some even have more pictures). Also added links to new car pictures on turkstra.net.
October 28, 2010 - Added Semester Five PhD summary.
September 19, 2010 - Did some clean up on layout and CSS over the last 24 hours. Anyone visiting may have noticed intermittent "peculiarities".
September 1, 2010 - Didn't feel like being productive, so updated all of my sites to comply with XHTML/1.1 (not much had to be changed). Updated the logo on the main page too.

October 29, 2008 - Fixed some broken links and a couple of spelling errors.
October 27, 2008 - Borderline major site update. A few new sections (eg, Teaching and Research) were added and pages were reorganized.
October 27, 2008 - Updated main page. The site was redone ages ago, no need to talk about it now.
October 23, 2008 - Added teaching, research segments to beta site.
October 20, 2008 - Killed old updates script. I didn't use it, and it was probably a security hole anyway.
