The Atomic Age
A Brief Overview

The rapid advancements in science and technology during the nineteenth century foreshadowed the great leaps accomplished during the atomic age. Many of these great leaps took place in the realm of nuclear physics. Although there were many extraordinary feats, the atomic bomb topped off all technological achievements. The development of a viable nuclear weapon spawned what is today known as "The Atomic Age."
